Slough Borough Council has selected the full Jadu platform for its new digital front office.

The move will see a redesigned Slough.gov.uk go live on Jadu CMS (Content Management System) and the implementation of Jadu XFP (Xforms Professional) and Jadu CXM (Customer Experience Management) as part of the council’s digital transformation.

The council serves the borough of Slough in Berkshire, which has a population of approximately 150,000 and is home to the highest concentration of UK Headquarters of global companies outside of London.

Transformation service specialists Methods will build out the first 50 cases and help the council realise significant savings in its move to Jadu.

Simon Putnam, IT Strategy Lead, Slough Borough Council said:

“Our old website was dated and not at all easy to update and amend. We need a low-code platform that our residents and business want to use and that in time, the council can update and manage itself. Jadu was the clear choice and, with the help of Methods, we’re pressing ahead with a digital transformation that will provide much better user experiences for citizens and businesses, along with greater efficiencies for the council.”

Jadu CMS’s non-technical interface removes the need for reliance on technical staff. Workflow and permissions are easily set, ensuring the right people publish the right information in the right place and at the right time.

Jadu CXM keeps customers fully informed at every stage of their cases and service requests, reducing the number of inbound calls and in-person drop-ins, enabling organisations to achieve significant digital ‘channel shift’.

Jadu XFP is a secure and flexible eforms (electrical forms) solution. Low-code tools enable WCAG 2.1 compliant (accessible and inclusive) eforms to be built out quickly and without the need for technical expertise.
