Online channel integration - the key to better engagement for Wyre Borough Council

Wyre Borough Council has selected Jadu to support its strategic drive to give customers the tools they need to interact more effectively.

Maximising the effectiveness of online channels such as the website, means that the council can deliver a more seamless and excellent service. In light of recent Government budget cuts, being able to provide this cost effectively is another important consideration.

A key objective for the council is to enhance the customer journey by using intelligent electronic forms. Jadu XForms Professional will be integrated with the council's CRM system to provide this. Wyre Borough Council intends to meet this challenge by working with Jadu to integrate front end services with the council's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Our main reason for choosing Jadu was the level of the 'out of the box' integration we are looking for. Using the Jadu suite of software we will be able to fully integrate the customers' online experience with our back office CRM system providing a simple way for residents to Apply, Report or Pay for it.

Andy Heath, Web Communications Officer, Wyre Borough Council.

"Delivering a return on investment from transactional web systems has become critical to local councils in the UK. We will be working with Wyre Borough Council to deliver this key output, whilst also maximising customer engagement and satisfaction with the online service" Suraj Kika, CEO, Jadu Ltd.

Based on recent data reported by Socitm Insight on the different costs of customer contact via telephone, face to face and web enquiry, it is estimated that the Council would generate a total efficiency saving of £168,274 over the next 5 years period by implementing this approach.

Increased efficiencies will also be delivered by the adoption of devolved web content authoring to responsible offices in an easy to use environment. This will provide the functionality to easily create separately branded 'micro-sites' for use by Councillors and not-for-profit community groups.
