Hosted at Fazeley Studios, Birmingham

June 200920

LocalGovCamp is an event for local government folk. The event is an unconference, which means that the agenda is not decided upon until the day itself. However, discussions are ongoing as to the type of sessions to be run on the Local Gov Camp email group.

Some of the sessions that have been suggested for the event include:

  • Google Analytics for government
  • BigCityPlanTalk and how local gov can engage with local bloggers
  • Learning and Development and Web 2.0
  • Task based design for homepages
  • The local government Knowledge Hub project
  • Overcoming the (many) small hurdles
  • Where next for LGSearch and LocalGovGlossary
  • Yoosk case studies
  • Use and reuse of Council data
  • Doing things beta

Speakers

In the true spirit of an unconference the speakers and sessions will not be decided until the actual day of the event. If you are interested in attending the event you can register your interest in the topics to be discussed at the LocalGov Camp Google group.
