e-Government Interoperability Framework (eGIF)

Does Jadu comply with eGIF?

The eGIF policies mandate adherence to the Technical Standards Catalogue and the eGMS.

At the very basic level, complying with the eGIF means:

  • Providing a browser based interface for access to the system.
  • Using XML as the primary means for data integration.
  • Using web standards.
  • Using metadata for content management.
Jadu supports eGIF's requirements.
  • Jadu CMS is entirely browser-based
  • All integration uses XML as the core data, through technologies such as SOAP.
  • All Jadu powered sites are designed using a combination of XHTML and CSS, to a minimum of WAI double-A conformance.
  • Jadu adheres to a minimum of what is outlined within the eGMS, but also makes use of additional web-based metadata.
Further to this, Jadu are taking part in the eGIF accreditation programme.
