Suraj Kika
Hosted at Fazeley Studios, Birmingham
LocalGovCamp is an event for local government folk. The event is an unconference, which means that the agenda is not decided upon until the day itself. However, discussions are ongoing as to the type of sessions to be run on the Local Gov Camp email group.
Some of the sessions that have been suggested for the event include:
- How councils can use Twitter
- Google Analytics for government
- BigCityPlanTalk and how local gov can engage with local bloggers
- Learning and Development and Web 2.0
- Task based design for homepages
- The local government Knowledge Hub project
- Overcoming the (many) small hurdles
- Where next for LGSearch and LocalGovGlossary
- Yoosk case studies
- Use and reuse of Council data
- Doing things beta
