The workflow engine in Jadu CMS 1.7 has been written from the ground-up to provide a powerful and flexible system that can be tailored to suit your needs. The unique and intuitive interface makes creating simple to advanced workflows a breeze. Some of the ground-breaking features include:

Alerts and Escalation: Make the workflow do the hard work for you. If a document stays in part of the workflow for a certain, customisable, period (e.g. because a team member is out of the office) it is automatically escalated to another member of the workflow team. Similarly, periodical reminders are sent by email to make sure the whole team stays on top of the job.

Collaboration: Collaborate with a colleague (or colleagues) before sending an item for approval in your own individual or group collaboration rooms.

Task List: See at a glance the tasks outstanding for you, your team or your whole organisation.

Workflow Designer: Create basic and parallel workflows with drag and drop ease. Workflows can be based around groups, individuals or both! A workflow can be used over your whole repository of content or on a project-by-project basis, with administrators only allowed to view their own particular area.
