New approaches to accessibility

Automated testing has its merits - but will never come close to the challenges of real world testing across a broad range of disabilities...

...and that's where AbilityNet, the World's leading accessibility testing charity comes in. AbilityNet use real-world testing methodologies to ensure a very high standard of broad testing is carried out in meticulous, human centrered lab tests.

Robin Christopherson, Head of accessibility testing at AbilityNet sums it up perfectly in this video interview at The Building Perfect Council Websites event in June:

Jadu are partners with AbilityNet - and we encourage all Jadu CMS customers to take up their independent tests to ensure that at the time of testing, their sites are achieving accessibility objectives and are inclusive of all. Our own engineering team are trained by AbilityNet to understand the challenges of making accessible web applications and work towards of creating better, more inclusive software.
